9 березня виповнюється 208 років від дня народження національного і світового генія, поета, художника, громадського діяча - Тараса Григоровича Шевченка.

І хоч минуло понад два століття від дня появи його на світ, а значущість цієї постаті та його пророчих слів не зменшилася.

Шевченкове Слово – духовний код нації, воно є шляхом до самоутвердження і духовного зростання народу, воно пробуджує почуття національної гідності та честі, шани й любові до рідної культури, мови, звичаїв.

ПРАПОРОВІ БАРВИ

Державний Прапор України – це офіційний символ, яким пишається кожен українець. Синьо-жовтий біколор прославляє нашу Україну у різних куточках світу, на всіх континентах планети Землі. Його яскраве полотнище з гармонійним поєднанням кольорів неодноразово поважно майоріло на п’єдесталах слави, на підкорених вершинах гір, над спорудами державних установ, консульств та посольств, на суміжних із сусідніми державами кордонах.

Фахівці КЗ«Гадяцька публічна бібліотека імені Лесі Українки» до 30-річчя відзначення затвердження державного прапора підготували інтерактивний історичний плакат «Прапор миру, вірності, волі ».

ДЕНЬ «МОНРЕАЛЬСЬКОЇ РІЗАНИНИ»

В рамках Всесвітньої кампанії « 16 днів проти насильства» - 6 грудня відзначається річниця з дня «Монреальської різанини», коли 14 жінок-студенток були вбиті злочинцем лише через те, що «вони були феміністками».

Фахівці КЗ « Гадяцька публічна бібліотека імені Лесі Українки», нагадують про цю подію в трагічному фотофакті « Ми лише жінки…»

MOM IS MY NATIVE AND THE ONLY ONE

From time immemorial in Ukraine there has been a tradition to honor the mother as the guardian of the family, home. In modern Ukraine, the Presidential Decree of 1999 established an official holiday - Mother's Day, which is celebrated on the second Sunday in May.

Mother's Day is especially important for everyone, because today we can say the most important words to our mothers, whose boundless love accompanies us throughout life.

Traditionally, Mother's Day is celebrated in the ethnographic club "Berehynia", which operates at the KZ "Gadyatska Public Library named after Lesya Ukrainka". The specialists of the institution have prepared an online greeting "Both kindness and warmth are united in the mother's heart", where words of gratitude to the dearest person are heard in poetic and musical works.

EASTER IS COMING - HOLIDAY IS IN YOUR SOUL!

Easter is called the brightest holiday of the year. We look forward to this day: someone to finish the forty-day fast, someone to eat traditional pastries, someone to decorate Easter eggs and hear the long-awaited "Christ is risen!"

Participants of the youth ethnographic club "Berehynia", which operates at the KZ "Gadyatska Public Library named after Lesya Ukrainka" and users of book collection offer to immerse themselves in the Easter tradition, answering the questions of the ethnographic quiz "Easter Easter - God's grace comes from heaven."

This year, April 25 marks the 110th anniversary of the birth of the master of artistic embroidery from the Poltava region (born in Lubny), Hero of Ukraine Vera Roik.

THIRD SATURDAY APRIL - WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Celebrated in Ukraine annually since 1999, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On Environment Day" of 6 August 1998 № 855/98 in support of an initiative of the Ministry of the Environment natural environment and nuclear safety of Ukraine and public environmental organizations on the development of activities initiated by the All-Ukrainian action "Tree-Life" and other public initiatives. On the third Saturday of April, public organizations are taking measures to improve the situation environment - purification of water sources, landscaping, preservation of protected areas, dissemination of environmental knowledge.

The Berehynia Youth Ethnographic Club, which operates under the Lesia Ukrainka Hadiatska Public Library, has prepared a virtual coup game, Herald of the Fate of Ukraine, timed to the 207th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth.

As part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921 and in honor of the memory of a prominent countryman, Ukrainian statesman and politician Simon Petliura, employees of the Lesia Ukrainka Public Library in Hadiach prepared a HISTORICAL ACCENT "FIGHTER FOR GENERAL".

Safer Internet Day was launched by Insafe and INHOPE with the support of the European Commission to promote the safe and positive use of digital technologies, especially by children and young people.

Every year on December 19, Orthodox Christians celebrate the Day of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

The people also call this saint Mykola Zymovyi and Mykolay Uhodnyk.

Nicholas the Wonderworker was born before our era in Byzantium. His parents raised him in the church faith.

During his life, Nicholas performed many miracles. He saved from death three military leaders, who were slandered, sailor killed in a storm, and saved his hometown from a terrible famine. He is revered as a protector of sailors, travelers and orphans. On St. Nicholas Day, there is a tradition of giving children gifts, hiding them under a pillow. This custom comes from the belief that Nicholas the Wonderworker secretly brought warm clothes to the homes of the disadvantaged, toys and food, and once threw a dowry to the girl so she could get married.

According to belief, obedient children in the morning on St. Nicholas Day find under the pillow sweets or other pleasant gifts, and the naughty are left without a surprise. In some families, the children themselves write letters to Nicholas, as for the New Year, and order certain gifts.
